-Mind the view-
Leben=Theater is for me about the interaction between appearance and reality: what is reality?
In -Mind the view- you find yourself in an immense space that seems to continue forever. In fact it is a flat drawing on the wall: a variation on Plato's cave.

-Drift 2012-
Contemporary art in the Waterloopbos from 18 May untill 1 November.
Waterloopbos, Voorsterweg 36, 8316 PT, Marknesse
DRIFT refers to our passion for change, transformation from old to new, from sea to land, from industry to nature, from basic to digital and back again. Drift cannot be directed, it is a primal force. It pushes us in a direction, it brings us to change. DRIFT invites us to reflect on the impact of human interventions in nature, the disappearance of the old world. its replacement by a new one, and the unforeseen possibilities that unfold.
The Waterloopbos (Marknesse, The Netherlands) is itself a site in transformation. It is situated on a ”polder” (land reclaimed from the sea in the 1930s). It was a hydrodynamic laboratory until 2001, where engineers experimented with scale models of harbours and estuaries. Nowadays the half overgrown and partly restored industrial ruins lie scattered in the forest.
Against the backdrop of an industrial heritage site and a young forest 13 artists express their vision on the theme.
